Arkansas Radio personality Eric Sullivan has been fired after an accusation of theft by a restaurant worker.
Eric Sullivan is a popular on-air-personality that works 103.7 The Buzz in Little Rock, Arkansas. He has hosted the radio program “Out of Bounds” for the station since 2016.
A 24-year-old, Destiny Foley, accused Sullivan of opening her purse and removing a total of 409 dollars when she left her purse on the table to visit the restroom. According to Ms. Foley, it was the next day that she discovered that her money was gone. Because she works at the restaurant, she was able to review video surveillance footage and discovered that it was Sullivan who went through her purse.
103.7 The Buzz has fired Sullivan from the station and removed images of Sullivan from all promotional materials and the station’s website.
In a different development, Foley posted on popular social media platform Facebook on Friday alleging that she has received a refund of the money and also posted a video of the alleged crime.
Till the time of writing this report. the police have not yet charged Sullivan, claiming that Folley has to press charges before that is done.
Responding to the press, Mr. Sullivan had this to say:
“I need to address something to you all: I’ve made a monumental career mistake & I take full responsibility for it, I let many people down as well as the listeners and great people at 1037 the Buzz and I will own that for the rest of my life.”
